TIPS FOR A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP
What is the best way to get a good night's sleep?
A good nights sleep is beneficial in more ways than just keeping you from being tired the following day. But it can often be a challenge to settle in and sleep comfortably through the night. We look to scent, environment and routine for gaining a better sleep.
The Wind Down
Studies say you should allow your body to wind down for at least 1 hour before going to bed, that includes avoiding heavy meals and exercise. Slowing a busy mind before it hits the pillow will help guarantee a good nights rest.
For evening bathers, try our Shinrin-Yoku Bath Salts - a blend of Himalayan and Epsom salts made to relieve muscle tension and aid relaxation.

Make it Cosy
Your bedding should provide comfort, support and an inviting atmosphere that promotes relaxation - at least we think so. Opt for sheets made from breathable fabrics like cotton or linen, that are also soft against the skin.
HAY's line of bedding & pyjamas is crafted from organic cotton to provide exceptional comfort and softness, while the bold colours and elegant contrast trim elevate the bedroom aesthetics.

Beauty Sleep
Do you have a nightly skin or beauty routine? It doesn't have to be a complicated - taking the time to treat your skin is wonderful wind-down. Additionally, a mindful physical activity such as Gua Sha, facial massage or doing a face mask can help bring your awareness away from a busy mind and ground busy energy in your body.
The Star of the Show
Literally meaning "to lie down and go to sleep", our Nerumae Sleep Mist is a bespoke blend of Mandarin, Lavender, Geranium and Frankincense to help bring you into a wonderful state of calm before bed, evoking a snoozy mood.
Spray it on your pillow or fill your room that evening. It's also a great one to spritz if you wake in the night and are struggling to fall back to sleep.

Do Not Disturb
As well as the stimulation of light, we really do think it's best to stay away from technology, and scrolling, no matter how tempting. Not that into reading? Try a soothing playlist instead...which doesn't necessarily have to be sounds of rain or the ocean. We recently put together some new scent playlists to compliment our bathing line.
