In this role, you will actively seek dialogues with Earl of East customers. You’ll ensure the highest level of service and display and interest and understanding of independent designers and the range of goods we carry and produce.

Purpose of the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate retail assistant located at our Earl of East Kings Cross space. The successful applicant will be part of a team of energetic individuals who are collectively responsible for representing the Earl of East brand and its values and hit retails targets. This is a full-time position and typically you will be required to work weekends, but flexibility is key.

You will assist in keeping the store environment tidy and presentable.

You will welcome guests into the space and forge dialogues with confidence and knowledge to build customer relationships. 

The successful candidate will be a skilled professional, able to grace this role with passion, attention to detail and joy. 

As Retail Assistant, you'll have to:

  • have had previous experience in retail

The Role:

As Store Supervisor you’ll work closely with the wider management team of dedicated individuals across the business, who are collectively responsible for representing the Earl of East brand and its values.

The Store Supervisor will be a natural leader, with a passion and appreciation for our products, partner brands and style of retail service. You’ll be responsible for providing inspiration, training and setting the retail team up for success ultimately driving results. The selected candidate will spend a day a week in the office rotating between departments and getting to know the bones of the company whilst being the cornerstone for leadership in the stores as a support function for the manager.

Earl of East Supervisors are the face of the retail business and the window into everything we do.

Responsibilities:

Ensure the smooth running of the shop floor through feedback, coaching and organisation and performance management where needed.

Ownership of stores KPI’s (ATV, Conversion, Revenue) alongside the manager and a solutions focused approach to developing these further.

Contribution of ideas to improve the successes of the retail business and an awareness of the goings on in the wider business.

Ensure that company procedures are followed on a day to day basis and the implementation of these.

Able to set the retail team up for success through training and an involvement in the development of the team where needed.

Assisting with inventory checks, making sure stock levels are monitored and communicated.

Be able to maintain cleanliness and merchandising standards and look for areas of opportunities.

We are looking for a Mid-Weight Designer, to help take the brand to the next level.
The ideal candidate is a go-getter with an entrepreneurial spirit. They will be able to take an initial idea or strategy and develop it into a fully formed multi-channel campaign that could include packaging, merch design, assets for paid social and marketing, and in store POS. An eye for detail, commercial awareness and the ability to concept and execute creative development, you will be looking to continually refine everything we do, and develop an industry leading creative direction for the brand. This is a big year for our business as we reach our ten year milestone, so we are looking for a capable and experienced creative to join our brand team, to ensure we stay top of our game, and create stunning campaigns to mark the occasion, and set us up for the next ten. It’s an opportunity to be part of a close knit team who work incredibly hard but continuously punch above the weight in terms of output.

Requirements:

An understanding of the homeware and lifestyle category, with experience working on brands within our category advantageous.

Proficiency in Adobe CC (Ai, Ps, Indd, Pp), and collaboration tools such as Notion and Trello.

Strong awareness of emerging trends in design and an interest in social media platforms.

Ability to define and roll out creative guidelines for a brand.

Experience for both still and moving small scale shoots and campaigns.

To be able to demonstrate an understanding of creative strategy and conceptual thinking.

Strong Project Management and Organizational Skills.

Minimum 3+ years experience in a graphic design role within a retail or brand environment.

Motion design experience welcomed.

Your primary responsibility will be to strategically allocate merchandise, ensuring it aligns with customer demand, all while maximising sales and mitigating overstock. The role will also focus on online merchandising for both DTC and B2B channels, so experience in working in both is advantageous. You will collaborate with marketing teams to align merchandising efforts with promotional strategies. Requirements:

You will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, following established procedures and quality standards to meet customer expectations and company objectives. The role requires an element of customer care to identify and resolve discrepancies or issues related to orders, inventory, or shipments. Experience in customer care or communications is therefore advantageous.
