Labneh, Lemon & Olive Dip
We wanted to create a fresh and elegant dip, and with our core line scent Atlas Cedar currently burning in the kitchen, we looked to the fragrance and the place that inspired it to recreate the scent on the plate.
Morocco has been a fixation of ours for years, and its rich culture has permeated our home and tables since our first visit. Atlas Cedar, with notes of olive leaf and cedar wood, is our tribute to the remote mountainous regions of Marrakesh and the sense of calm they evoke.

Using ingredients almost entirely from our store cupboard, we've created a go-to throw-together dish. Cool, creamy labneh is like the best cream cheese you’ve ever eaten.
Topped with the zing of preserved lemon, the oily bite of olives, and the crunch of pistachios, you can bring in the sunshine at any time of year. It takes all of five minutes to assemble, though you'd never guess from the taste.

You'll Need
1 Tub of labneh
3-4 Preserved Lemons
1 Cup of green olives
Handful of pistachios (optional)
Handful of fresh parsley
1/2 Teaspoon of sumac
Good quality olive oil
Flatbreads to serve
Make It
Toast some flatbreads, or open a box of crackers ready for dipping.
Crush the olives with the back of your knife, removing any pits.
Chop up the preserved lemon into small pieces, then mix with the crushed olives and a generous amount of good extra virgin olive oil.
Spread a tub of labneh onto your dish, then top with the lemony olive mixture.
Roughly chop some shelled, unsalted pistachios (although any nut or seed would work nicely) and scatter on top.
Finish with a sprinkle of parsley and the sumac. Aleppo pepper also works. Enjoy!
The Scent: Atlas Cedar
A unique blend of cedar wood, olive leaf and white musk, Atlas Cedar is inspired by the remote mountains of Marrakesh. Its earthy, warm profile will gently transport you to the peaceful Berber villages of the Atlas Mountains, creating a sense of calm in your home.
