Florence draws you in slowly - through winding streets, the clink of coffee cups and the smell of sun-soaked buildings. We spent a few days in the city and here’s what we loved:

The Hoxton
Tucked away in a retro 70s-era building right by the beautiful Piazza della Libertà, The Hoxton mixes vintage charm with laid-back style. Featuring a coastal-inspired restaurant, a vibrant wine bar, a huge garden terrace and a unique underground event space it's the kind of place that makes you want to linger in the lobby and order room service just because.
Florence Duomo
Towering over the city, the Duomo is a Florence staple. Whether you’re climbing to the top for sweeping views or just admiring the façade from the piazza below, it’s one of those landmarks that lives up to the hype.
Go early to beat the crowds, then linger with a coffee and take it all in. A true Florence moment.

Eat & Drink
Vivoli
Vivoli, dates back to 1929 and is Florence’s oldest gelateria. The shop is charmingly old-fashioned, with wood and tiled walls. Go expecting a line, but it's definitely worth the wait.
Alassio
Alassio is relaxed but refined, offering coastal Italian dishes in a contemporary setting. The menu leans into fresh seafood, handmade pasta and vibrant seasonal produce, all paired with an excellent wine list and one of the best negronis we had in the city.
