To create a longer lasting aroma, we think essential oil diffusers work best. Place a few drops of your essential oil with some water in your diffuser and let it fill the space.

The Big Light can often be a bit too harsh. Choose table or floor lamps to create a more welcoming space to enter. Mirrors are ideal to reflect light around a hallway space. For maximum impact, place them on the wall opposite your lamp or window.

Brining in flowers or plants, or bright pops of colour never fails to give your space an instant uplift, we think. Choose the perfect vase to compliment your greenery or pick out some colourful accessories to bring life in.

Practical and pleasing on the eye; use storage pieces to hide away your running-out-the-door essentials, whether that’s keys, shoes, or the dog’s lead. For a hallway bench, we love HAY's stackable colour crates for under seating shoe storage.

Practical items don't have to be boring. Show some personality (and seasonality) by switching out your hallway accessories. Treat yourself to something new or simply swap about the decor around your home.
