Guests will explore fragrance, blend their own scent and pour a scented soy wax candle to take home. Our private workshops are suited to team socials, birthdays, hen dos, client events and creative group gatherings.

For larger groups and events, the Earl of East team can host a private candle making workshop at your office, venue or event space.

Off-site sessions are ideal for corporate events, brand activations, team building and private gatherings. We bring the materials, equipment and guidance; you provide the space.

Beginner's Candle Making Workshop

Our beginner's candle making workshop is a hands-on introduction to the world of fragrance and candle making. Guided step-by-step by one of our expert makers, guests will learn everything that goes into creating a scented soy wax candle, from wax to wick. Each guest will work with up to 8 fragrance oils spanning top, middle and base notes to create their own bespoke scent before pouring a 6oz / 170ml candle to take home.

Advanced Candle Making & Bespoke Fragrance Blending

Our advanced workshop is designed for guests wanting a deeper fragrance experience. This session focuses on developing your own personalised scent through storytelling, mood or aromatherapy-led fragrance creation. Working with both essential oils and fragrance oils, guests will create a creative brief before blending and pouring their own bespoke candle with guidance from one of our experts.
